12. Other information: Works will involve the construction and installation of exhibition materials against the agreed design as set out in the invitation to tender document. Invitation to Tender will be transmitted w/c 10th November for a tender return deadline of 12 noon 28th November,2008 and contract award w/c 1st December. Subsequent exhibit installation is targeted to be completed early June, 2009. The successful supplier will be expected to liaise and integrate with the project's design and management team. Many items are bespoke and will need individual construction. There are five individual tender components: Graphics; Sets and Displays; Interactives 1 - Physical Interactives; Interactives 2 - Audio/Visual Interactives; Fishtank. Suppliers can tender for any number of the five separate works packages but each one must be costed separately. Please note that tenders will be evaluated against a number of different criteria which will include demonstrating relevant experience of heritage/museum work, understanding of the subject matter and economic advantage. The Council will not be obliged to accept all or any proposals.
